ABOUT Bare Society Wax Lounge is a private waxing studio focused on real results, attention to detail, and a more comfortable, personalized experience from start to finish. Hi, I’m Kyra — licensed esthetician and the face behind Bare Society. I specialize in Brazilians, body waxing, and detail-focused services, with an approach centered on precision, efficiency, and never rushing the process. After working in a high-volume environment, I wanted to create something different — a space where clients feel comfortable, services are fully customized, and nothing feels overlooked. Bare Society is an extension of that — a place where those relationships can continue in a more one-on-one setting. My focus is always on making you feel comfortable, confident, and at ease while delivering consistent, high-quality results. Whether you’re brand new or have been waxing for years, you’ll never feel like just another appointment here. ⸻ NEW TO WAXING? If this is your first wax or first Brazilian, you’re in the right hands! I’ll walk you through everything and adjust the service to your comfort level. For best results, allow 3–4 weeks of hair growth (closer to 4 weeks is ideal for first-time clients). Hair should be about 1/4 inch long — avoid trimming too short or too close to the skin. Hair can be more stubborn during your first few waxes, and skin may be more sensitive. My approach always prioritizes skin health and comfort, so it’s completely normal if a few hairs remain at first. With consistency and proper aftercare, results become smoother and more complete over time. If you’d like, you can take Tylenol or Ibuprofen about 30 minutes before your appointment, though most clients find it very manageable without. Please take a moment to review the preparation information below prior to your appointment — this helps ensure the best possible results. ⸻ HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR VISIT • Skin should be clean, dry, and free of lotions or oils the day of your wax • Exfoliate 2–3 times per week, including the night before your appointment • Avoid heavy products or irritation in the area prior to your visit, including tanning and sun exposure • Wear comfortable clothing if possible If you’d like to freshen up beforehand, there is a restroom available next to the elevator, and wipes will be available. ⸻ ON YOUR PERIOD? You can absolutely still receive a bikini/brazilian wax while on your period. Just wear a tampon or menstrual cup. Trimming the tampon string slightly can help, but isn’t required — I’ll work around it! Sensitivity may be a bit higher during this time, so we’ll adjust as needed to keep you comfortable. ⸻ STUDIO + ARRIVAL INFO • Parking is available in both the front and back of the building • Take the elevator to the second floor • Enter Suite 211 (to the left) • There is a waiting area inside the suite Please wait in the lobby and I will come out to get you. If my treatment room door is closed, I’m with a client or finishing up — I’ll be right out. If you have trouble finding the studio or are running late, feel free to send me a message on Instagram. Cancellation Policy
I completely understand that life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please try to give at least 24 hours’ notice.
